Lanka with you, but there is one condition that you go there but do not mukta under Shivling otherwise they will be established wherever you put them. Taking the blessings of Lord Shiva, Ravana moved towards Lanka with the Shivling In him there is no change of Lord Shiva and he got suspicious So, when Ravana reached, a cow went and was grazing, Ravana said, "If you don't release this Shivling for a while, then let him catch the cow." He stood but could not bear the weight of the Shivling, and finally he made the Shivling touch the earth. After that, Ravana tried hard to lift him up, but the Shivlinga did not rise and he was disappointed and Ravana went to Lanka. The name of this Goval was Vaji. In some Puranas, Lord Vishnu is also called Vaji. After this, in the establishment of Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga by a Goval named Vaji, the Goddess and Deity are worshiped and worshiped by Lord Shiva Purana. Established Jyotirlinga. This is how Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva came into existence.
Ganapati had promised his mother that he would bring his father back. That's why Ganapati took the form of Vaiju at the behest of Lord Vishnu, Ganapati stopped Lord Shankar from taking him to Lanka and fulfilled his promise to his mother, stopped Lord Shiva from taking him to Lanka, hence this place is known as Vaidyanath Mahadev. It is also said that here at the entrance of Vaiju, the soul of Lord Shiva touched the land at the entrance of Ravana, then Ravana prayed a lot to take Mahadev but he got disappointed.
